About Credifin
Founded in 1992, Credifin Limited (formerly PHF Leasing Limited) is a category "B" Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) listed on the Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India, headquartered in Jalandhar, Punjab. As of March, 2025, the company has achieved assets under management (AUM) exceeding ₹375 crores. This marks a remarkable growth from ₹10.28 crores as of March 31, 2020. Credifin holds a BBB- rating from CRISIL and has successfully reduced its non-performing assets (NPAs) to enhance financial stability.
Operating across 14 states and union territories, Credifin has established a presence in over 200 locations and employs more than 650 people. The company primarily serves borrowers in rural and semi-urban areas in regions including Punjab, Delhi NCR, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Gujarat and Jammu.
Credifin's product portfolio has diversified to include mortgage loans against immovable property (LAP), as well as financing for electric vehicles such as e-rickshaws, e-loaders, and electric two-wheelers. This shift aligns with the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions and reflects the company’s commitment to innovation.
Credifin is dedicated to promoting financial inclusion by providing viable financial solutions to lower-income segments. The company actively supports women’s empowerment by mandating female co-borrowers for all financing products, particularly in MSME loans aimed at women entrepreneurs. This focus on social responsibility, combined with strategic growth initiatives, has significantly propelled the company forward, positioning it as a key player in the financial services sector.
